What are the responsibilities and job description for the DECATUR HOUSEKEEPING UTILITY PORTER position at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur (Las Vegas, NV)?
Summary: Cleans and services assigned area according to standards of cleanliness set by management to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment for our guests. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:Regularly cleans items such as trash cans, windows, doors and mirrors as well as elevators
Details rooms, shampoos carpets in the hotel rooms and hotel hallways
Moves furniture and makes room deliveries, including linens
Assists houseperson with special projects, hotel rooms, cleaning floors, and lighting fixtures
Handles and disposes of biohazard materials in accordance with OSHA training provided by the company
Scrubs and disinfects sinks, toilets, furniture and various fixtures
Replenishes supplies in housekeeping, maintains housekeeping warehouse area and other work areas
Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Functions:
Qualifications/Requirements:
1 to 6 months of related experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements Ability to work with cleaning products, chemicals and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company
Working indoors, continuously standing and walking for a majority of the time
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
Regularly lift, bend/kneel and occasionally working outdoors
Hearing, vision, speech and literacy (critical)
