What are the responsibilities and job description for the DECATUR HOUSEKEEPING UTILITY PORTER position at Golden Entertainment?
Summary : Cleans and services assigned area according to standards of cleanliness set by management to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment for our guests. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions :
- Regularly cleans items such as trash cans, windows, doors and mirrors as well as elevators
- Details rooms, shampoos carpets in the hotel rooms and hotel hallways
- Moves furniture and makes room deliveries, including linens
- Assists houseperson with special projects, hotel rooms, cleaning floors, and lighting fixtures
- Handles and disposes of biohazard materials in accordance with OSHA training provided by the company
- Scrubs and disinfects sinks, toilets, furniture and various fixtures
- Replenishes supplies in housekeeping, maintains housekeeping warehouse area and other work areas
- Performs other duties as assigned
