This position is available for primarily remote work within Arizona, but does require presence at both the ADOR Phoenix and Tucson offices, as well as field-based work throughout Arizona, as needed (estimated in-office / field work to be 2-4 times per month). This is based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Summary :
The Supervisor, Field Collections is responsible for organizing, training, and supervising a team of both in-office and field-based Business Collections staff engaged in the collection of delinquent tax liabilities on behalf of the Arizona Department of Revenue. This role is also responsible for appropriate enforcement of laws and procedures of collections work, reviewing and approving distraint and indemnification processes, and reviewing and approving enforcement actions (liens, levies, subpoenas, litigation, and seizures). Additionally, this role serves as a back-up to the Deputy Administrator, Business Collections to represent the Department in settlement issues and resolves high-profile or sensitive accounts, tax protester accounts, and also responds to correspondence sent by constituents or members of the public to the Governor, Agency Director, or Legislature.

Education & Experience
- Any combination that meets the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA); typical ways KSAs are obtained may include but are not limited to : a relevant degree from an accredited college or university such as Bachelor's Degree (e.g., B.A.), training, coursework, and work experience relevant to the assignment.
- Minimum of five (5) years' tax collection experience
