This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage power and transmission agreements, member/customer contracts, OATT-based interconnection agreements, and other related contract matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electric utility industry and experience in contract administration, regulatory compliance, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage power and transmission agreements, member/customer contracts, OATT-based interconnection agreements, and other related contract matters.
- Analyze and process interconnection requests, operations and maintenance agreements, and telecommunication lease agreements.
- Oversight of the administration of existing operations and maintenance agreements with Western Area Power Administration or other local utilities.
- Coordination with system operations and the legal department for any contract exhibit amendments for operations, maintenance, and ownership responsibility.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, economics, engineering, or another technical field is required; a J.D. or applicable M.A. is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the electric utility industry or an equivalent field is preferred.
