What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electric Utility Contract Manager position at Arizona Generation and Transmission Cooperatives?
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, analyze, and revise power and transmission agreements, member/customer contracts, OATT-based interconnection agreements, and other related contract matters.
- Analyze and process interconnection requests, operations and maintenance agreements, and telecommunication lease agreements.
- Develop and oversee the administration of existing operations and maintenance agreements with Western Area Power Administration or other local utilities.
- Coordinate with system operations and the legal department for any contract exhibit amendments for operations, maintenance, and ownership responsibility.
- Monitor document management systems and corporate records for proper retention of agreements.
- Represent the company on committees and task forces as required.
- Participate in special projects and enterprise risk management processes as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, economics, engineering, or another technical field is required; a J.D. or applicable M.A. is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the electric utility industry or an equivalent field is preferred.
