Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Contract Services Specialist to prepare, review, analyze, and revise power and transmission agreements, member/customer contracts, and other related contract matters for our cooperative.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in contract administration, regulatory compliance, or a related field and possess strong analytical, writing, and project management skills.
- This role involves preparing, analyzing, and processing interconnection requests, operations and maintenance agreements, and telecommunication lease agreements.
- The successful candidate will also oversee the administration of existing operations and maintenance agreements with Western Area Power Administration or other local utilities.
- In addition, this position requires preparing and coordinating with system operations and the legal department for any contract exhibit amendments for operations, maintenance, and ownership responsibility.
- The selected candidate will serve as the principal contact for monitoring contract updates, processing changes as needed, and monitoring various notice or termination provisions.
- This role also involves representing our cooperative(s) on committees and task forces, participating in special projects, and tracking authorizations and correspondence.
