Salary
The estimated hourly pay range for this role is currently $23.00 - $31.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
Job Description
This role involves assisting the line crew with the construction, operation, and maintenance of FMBI power distribution systems. The successful candidate will assist in the safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs with a lineman, perform construction and maintenance of high or low voltage electric power lines and structures, and troubleshoot systems faults on power distribution lines with a lineman.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- One year of electrical experience, or an Associate's degree in electrical, or Electrical JTED certification.
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
- Effective written, verbal, and communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company.
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job at the time of the job offer with or without reasonable accommodations.
