Job Summary:
We are searching for a Full Time in-house SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR to work at our corporate office in Tempe. We are currently looking for an aspiring individual who is smart, passionate and eager to work. Under supervision of the Vice President of Information Technology, this person will install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade computer hardware, software, applications, personal computer networks, peripheral equipment and electronic mail systems; troubleshoot and fix problems with the company’s custom applications at corporate, branch and affiliate offices, and maintain company servers. Candidates must be flexible and excited about working in a fast paced team environment; exhibit communication and organizational skills, and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs.
Duties (Duties are illustrative and not inclusive):
- Assist in the design and administration of network servers and services including active directory, policy administration, security, file servers, etc.
- Day-to-day upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of Arizona Labor Force, Inc., servers, phones, computers and active directory.
- Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, custom applications, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required
- Office 365 services management and support including Microsoft Teams.
- Server and system security design and implementation using up to date standards and best practices.
- Group Policy administration and creation.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server, Desktop Operating Systems, Active Directory and Group Policy
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies (Cisco or similar)
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Information Security Products from companies like Cisco, Dell and Sonicwall
- Powershell and command line scripting
- Five years of experience supporting MS Windows Server environment (Windows Active Directory, Imaging Servers, File Servers)
- Experience supporting 3CX VoIP or similar phone systems (Preferred)
- Experience managing a Medium to large sized network infrastructure (Sonicwall / Dell)
- Experience with Hypervisor technologies (Hyper V or VMWare)
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
