What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Framer position at Arizona Scaffolding?
Job Summary:
We are looking for someone with metal framing experience who is interested in transitioning into Scaffolding operations. You will be driven around the state with a partner and assemble small Scaffolding units. We will fully train you and give you every thing you need to know to learn this trade. It is very hard work occasionally, but is one of the better construction jobs you could have. You are often sitting in a car for 5 hours a day seeing parts of Arizona. Ability to earn more as you become more skilled. If you are not responsible and do not know how to show up on time, don't bother applying.
Requirements:
- Clean driving record (in-case you become a driver).
- Ability to work on uneven surfaces & occasionally in AZ summer heat.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
- Punctual Person, on-time and reliable.
- Ability to deal with customer issues and handle their complaints appropriately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in construction is a plus.
- Prior experience in carpentry or framing.
What a typical day looks like:
- Meet at 6 AM, load/unload and leave our yard by 7. Drive to 2-3 different jobs in the state of Arizona or in Phoenix. Spend an hour/two at each installing/picking up custom scaffolding units. Return home from 2-5(occasionally later). We can promise a full 40 Hour work week, but there are commonly days with overtime.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
