Job Description:
Under the direction of the Global Launch Director, the Assistant Director of Sales and Conversion will lead efforts to increase enrollment across the full portfolio of Global Launch’s offerings, including English Language Programs (ELP), campus and online, and ASU-USA Pathways program. This role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to generate and convert leads and expand outreach efforts, including the development of new partnerships to hit enrollment goals. The Assistant Director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify enrollment opportunities, implement efficient sales processes, and push for a seamless pipeline that guides prospective students from inquiry through admission to enrollment. Key priorities include establishing scalable lead pipelines, optimizing recruitment strategies, and driving continuous growth through data-driven decision-making and targeted marketing efforts.
Compensation: $78,000 – $90,000
Essential Duties:
- Strategic sales and enrollment growth
- Develops and executes sales plans to increase enrollment in ELP and ASU-USA Pathways programs.
- Builds relationships with institutions, corporate/government partners, and agencies to identify new enrollment opportunities.
- Develops targeted marketing and outreach strategies to boost visibility and attract students.
- Manages a sales pipeline to track and convert leads, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement.
- Uses data analytics to monitor trends, optimize recruitment, and meet enrollment targets.
- Development and stakeholder engagement
- Represents Global Launch at international events to promote programs and build a global referral network.
- Collaborates with Global Launch teams to ensure seamless admissions and enrollment processes.
- Trains recruitment agents to deepen their understanding of programs and enrollment processes.
- Operational excellence
- Develops and tracks KPIs to measure sales and marketing effectiveness, providing actionable insights.
- Implements scalable sales processes to streamline lead generation, follow-up, and conversion.
- Aligns Global Launch initiatives with ASU recruitment efforts through collaboration with Admissions.
- Identifies opportunities for innovation and process improvements to enhance enrollment and drive growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of higher education, English language programs, enrollment strategies.
- Familiarity with innovation-driven industries, entrepreneurship, business operations, and financial management.
- Proven success in meeting sales and enrollment targets, with expertise in sales management, budgeting, and revenue forecasting.
- Strong ability to build relationships with partners, institutions, and global networks, including conducting successful visits and collaborating in multicultural settings.
- Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and leading productive teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Experience working with English learners of varying proficiency, familiarity with their academic and cultural concerns, including F-1 visa issues.
- Proficiency in a second language and strong communication skills, including presenting to diverse groups of students and stakeholders.
- Experience in fast-paced environments, maintaining high standards of organization, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Slack, Canvas LMS, Airtable, Adobe, and knowledge of ASU systems and processes.
Working Environment:
- Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse
- Frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work
- Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts
- Flexible work arrangement options are available based on job duties and department approval
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field including two (2) years managerial experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
