Job Description

ATRA is an award-winning performance marketing agency specializing in conversion tracking, analytics, and optimization for the full paid media customer journey. We are looking for a highly organized, quick-learning, and proactive individual to join our growing Conversion Rate Optimization team as a UX Designer. This role is vital in creating high-performing designs for A/B testing, building marketing funnels, and building data-driven strategies that enhance our clients’ conversion rates.

As a UX Designer, you’ll combine your creative design expertise with marketing know-how to craft compelling user experiences. While experience in A/B testing and analytics is a plus, we are eager to train the right candidate on conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and how to measure KPIs and track statistical significance.

The ideal candidate has exceptional digital design skills, an understanding of marketing personas and customer journeys, and a desire to learn the art and science of CRO.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Design high-quality creative assets (landing pages, ads, and other digital experiences) to support A/B testing and conversion optimization strategies. Unbounce or ClickFunnels experience is a plus!
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on campaign goals, audience personas, and ensure proper messaging throughout.
  • Assist in planning and executing A/B testing initiatives, working closely with the Director of CRO & Creative to measure results and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present design concepts, test results, and recommendations during internal and external client meetings.
  • Stay up to date on design trends, user behavior, and digital marketing strategies to consistently improve client deliverables.
  • Keep the team updated on your tasks in ClickUp (project management software) and Slack to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Create, refine and document internal processes to improve the efficiency and quality of CRO and design projects.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital design, UI/UX, or a related role (experience in an agency environment is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including audience personas, marketing funnels, and user behavior.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Solid foundational understanding of User Experience (UX) principles as it relates to conversion-focused web design is ideal.
  • Experience with A/B testing using tools like Optimizely, VWO or similar is a major plus!
  • Experience with landing page design using tools such as Unbounce and ClickFunnels is also a major plus!
  • A keen interest in data-driven decision-making and a desire to learn A/B testing and analytics. We’re all data nerds!
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Monday (preferred).

  • Able to join us Monday - Friday in our office in Scottsdale (1 day per week remote eligible upon 90 days of successful employment).
