Job Description:
Contributes with excellence to the successful delivery of online, in-person and hybrid executive education programs, resulting in effective team support and a top-notch customer experience. Ensures the goals and objectives of assigned tasks are accomplished in accordance with priorities, time constraints, funding limitations or other specifications. Under general direction, performs self-directed work of moderate difficulty, complexity, and ambiguity. Serves as liaison between organization and clients and/or partners, managing and implementing all aspects of program operations for the delivery of online, in-person and hybrid formats primarily with new and/or complex programs. Anticipates and manages project or program risks, expectations, and change through identifying a variety of factors such as budget, time, and resources. Forecasts and manages operational impact related to client relationships, partnerships, and the participant experience.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $66,000 per year; depending on experience.
Essential Duties:
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Utilize principles of project management, and general business •Knowledge of processes for dissemination of results through presentations and reports.
- Knowledge of budget management methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of the principles, concepts and practices of organizational management.
- Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Skill in managing client and partner relationships.
- Skill in project management techniques including excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of planning.
- Ability to navigate complex issues and troubleshoot, at times with limited information and guidance.
- Collaborate across Executive Education providing regular support to operations and instructional design teams, faculty support for Exec Ed Open enrollment and custom programs, short to long-term projects and associated tasks.
- Develop and implement program evaluations, assessments, registration forms, and surveys.
- Serve as system administrator for Thunderbird Executive Education's internal Salesforce and Stova environments.
- Perform tasks contributing to online and in-person program deliveries such as participant registration, obtaining copyright permission for course materials (readings, graphics, maps, videos, etc.) and communicating with vendors and copyright holders.
- Utilize a variety of digital platforms for digital programs, digital elements of in-person programs, meetings, webinars and information sharing.
- Utilize tools to capture program data such as the CRM application, digital portal, templates, etc. Perform analysis of learning and program data, provide assessment of trends and recommend corrective action.
- Remain abreast of technology directions, initiatives and trends within scope of expertise to provide ideas, guidance and recommendations.
- Tackle special projects such as data cleanup, research and data reporting.
- May be required to work evenings and/or weekends occasionally.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field.
- Experience in managing client relationships.
- Knowledge of executive education industry and programs/products.
- Knowledge of the principles of building and administering surveys a plus.
- Project management experience
- Proficient in; MS Office Suite, Outlook, Zoom, Workday, Salesforce, and Slack.
- Experience with project management software.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Managing complex schedules.
- Demonstrated knowledge of any of the following platforms are a plus: Salesforce, Canvas, Qualtrics, Aventri/Stova, Zoom, Outlook, Dropbox.
- Evidence in being technologically inclined and comfortable learning new platforms.
- Experience with HTML coding basics a plus
- Higher education experience.
- Experience in working with diverse populations and intercultural relationship building.
Working Environment:
- Professional, global, team-based environment; primary location is downtown Phoenix
- In-person and remote collaboration with local and global colleagues
- Travel regionally, domestically and internationally (on average up to 20%)
- Occasional evening and weekend work is necessary
- Majority of activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting
- Use of E-mail, phone, and a variety of digital platforms
- Use of software and computer equipment (monitor, keyboard, mouse) for extended periods of time
- Use of office equipment: printers, copiers, fax machines, telephones, calculators
- Lift and transport up to 20 pounds
- Sustainability awareness is embedded into departmental goals and operational practices.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
