POSITION SUMMARY:
This position ensures the effective functioning of the Arizona Supreme Court Print Shop and coordinates the provision of efficient, cost-effective document production and reproduction for the Supreme Court and Administrative Offices of the Court with a focus on superior customer service and meeting budget objectives.
This position also ensures that Court-owned equipment is maintained and properly operated; explores and develops new print strategies; and maintains required schedules, inventories, and accounts. Additional responsibilities include printing all court letterhead, brochures, forms and reports; preparing layout work for the duplication of forms, records, booklets, reports and other materials; troubleshooting more serious equipment issues to provide information to service technicians; training new staff on equipment operations including folding machines, shredders, paper drills, plastic binding machines, stapling machines, paper cutters, and coil binding machines; and providing backup assistance for other positions in the Facilities Department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high school diploma and Associates degree with one year of experience, or five years experience or formal training in the area of digital and analog document productions, printing, and binding. Additional requirements include knowledge of high speed production machines: black & white and color such as Konica Minolta, BizHub 6120, and BizHub press C3080; knowledge of micro-press server software; the ability to manage multiple tasks with short deadlines; knowledge of mechanical and electrical functions for equipment maintenance; knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA requirements in the workplace; ability to follow moderately complex written and oral instructions; knowledge of weights, textures, and grains of paper; ability to work well under pressure with all levels of court staff and rapidly changing schedules; as well as the ability to train and be responsible for the work of assistants. This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and the ability to stand for long periods of time. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of department regulations, procedures, and policies; and vendor certified to provide limited repair service to above equipment.
