Typical Duties
- Serves Students. Schedule, review, and analyze department ledger accounting entry details to ensure accuracy, monitor variances, and resolve discrepancies.
- Assists Accountant-Team Lead with the audits and reconciliation of the general ledger to the Fixed Asset (Property Control) database. Analyze, determines needs, and prepares journal entries for Fixed Assets. Maintain fixed asset documentation.
- Assists Accountant-Team Lead with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Federal, State, Local, and Private grants.
- Prepares all bank reconciliations using bank electronic systems and various software programs.
- Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree with classes in accounting and two (2) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position with demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices
- Associate’s degree with classes in accounting and four (4) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position with demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices
- High School Diploma and six (6) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position with demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved may be considered
$50,544 - 53,577 per year, depending on experience.
