- Act as a “first responder” by executing treatment plans designed to de-escalate behavioral challenges.
- Engage one-on-one with children in various contexts (home, school, community).
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate client progress.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate behavioral interventions tailored to each unique client.
- Monitor and document client progress while actively participating in weekly supervision and ongoing training sessions.
- Proficiency in behavioral interventions such as behavior contracts and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to work independently while also being an effective team member.
- Strong time management aptitude to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Demonstrated empathy and professionalism, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, child development, education, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of one year's experience working with children, adolescents, or families facing behavioral challenges.
