Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Branford Hills, is a seeking an experienced and qualified Part Time / Per Diem Every Weekend Recreation Aide / TRD to join our team of healthcare professionals.
As a part of our team of Recreation professionals, you will enjoy working in a close-knit facility with deep ties to the CT shoreline. Our 190-bed facility remains a leading provider of quality, five star, nursing and rehabilitative services.
As the Therapeutic Recreation Aide your responsibilities will include :
- Assisting in the planning, organizing, and delivering of quality, comprehensive recreation services to meet the emotional, social, spiritual, and physical needs of our residents and patients
- Maintaining required documentation including but not limited to assessments, MDS, Care Plans, RAPs, and progress notes
- Following activity calendars to ensure variety of recreational programs and events
Qualified Candidates will have successfully completed a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, or related field, and meet the State of CT requirements as a Therapeutic Recreation Director. Qualified Candidate will have a prior long-term care or healthcare care setting experience.
