Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Level 1 IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. This entry-level role involves providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting in the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for solving technology-related problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve basic technical issues for users via phone, email, or in person.
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level IT staff as needed.
- Log and track incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Perform basic software installations and updates as required.
- Perform user onboarding, guide users on IT policies, best practices, and the effective use of hardware and software.
- Document solutions to frequently encountered problems for user reference.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Support the IT team in managing and deploying new hardware or software solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- CompTIA A , Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Knowledge of operating systems and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, email systems, and IT service management tools.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
