Childcare Provider Infants-Prek

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their safety and development. This role involves providing high-quality care for children in a nurturing environment, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational games, and arts and crafts.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children.
• Provide basic caregiving tasks such as feeding, diaper changing, and assisting with personal hygiene.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their well-being at all times.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
• Stay informed about child development principles and best practices in childcare.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in childcare settings such as preschool, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior in children.
• Familiarity with first aid procedures to ensure children's safety.
• Experience working with infants or young children is highly desirable.
• Ability to create engaging activities that cater to various age groups.
• A background in working with children with disabilities is a plus.
