What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Plant Operator position at Arkansas and Louisiana Aggregate?
- Candidate will learn to operate all asphalt plants to produce asphalt as ordered and make adjustments as needed.
- Willingness and ability train on and operate heavy equipment in order to maintain stockpiles, load asphalt plant, general yard maintenance, and other tasks as required.
- Responsible for maintaining a working inventory of raw materials and communicating replenishment needs.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance and assisting with repairs of plants and other equipment as needed.
- Responsible for general yard housekeeping.
- Position may require occasional quality control testing and coordinating with customers to dispatch trucks to jobsites.
