- Endorsements for Special Education or Alternative Learning
- Training or certification in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and social-emotional learning strategies.
- 190 days with benefit provided according to Siloam Springs School Board policies.

- Establish classroom expectations and procedures that create a climate where all members are valued.
- Collaborate with support staff, counselors, and families to develop strategies that ensure student success.
- Plan and implement lessons with instructional outcomes that align to curriculum standards.
- Implement positive behavior supports and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- Develop and implement individualized student support plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.
- Attend meetings and performs duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.
- Serve on committees as assigned.
- Effectively implement district initiatives.
- Remain current on instructional practices in education.
