About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced regulatory enforcement agent to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing all federal, state, and local laws related to alcohol, tobacco, and medical marijuana.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of permitted businesses to ensure compliance with Arkansas laws
- Enforce underage sales laws for alcohol and tobacco products
- Collect evidence and testify at hearings and in court
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma, plus five years of law enforcement experience with two years in investigation, electronic forensics, or a crime scene division
- Certification as a full-time law enforcement officer through the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training or have the ability to transfer a current Federal or State Certification
- Ability to work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends, and frequent travel within assigned area
