Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The FNP will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires a strong foundation in primary and/or pulmonary medicine and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
This position is located in Fort Smith, AR. Must be willing to relocate or live within driving distance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques in all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Valid state nursing license with the ability to practice as an FNP.
- Experience in primary care is preferred; familiarity with pulmonology is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
