What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Specialist III position at Arkansas State University?
Composes, types, and edits various documents including letters, memoranda, reports, forms, narratives, informational brochures, and training materials from voice recording devices, or rough draft using a variety of computer applications including but not limited to : Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), Adobe, word processing or personal computer
Building security
Manages interdepartmental and ground mail and packages
Experience with or aptitude with the institution's operating systems including but not limited to : Banner, Concur, TaskStream
Demonstrates excellent customer service and positive personal interactions with A-State students and staff / faculty, prospective students, alumni, clinical sites and clinical instructors, and other A-State and community members
Collegial relationship with administrative specialists in other college departments, coordinating phone coverage and other leave coverage as needed.
Assists department chair and program directors with daily operations of each program
