Responsibilities:
Prepares electronic artwork
Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications of product to determine physical characteristics of item, special handling and type of materials required for the design
Creates, draws, modifies, and changes design to achieve desired effect
Other duties as assigned by the Carton Design Manager
Other duties include cutting and gluing cartons
Skills & Abilities:
Must possess strong motivation, good judgment, sense of urgency and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team oriented manufacturing environment
An understanding of geometry and math to calculate angles and lines of multi-sided shapes
Strong communication skills
Strong knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Esko Artworks Artios CAD
Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
Equipment:
Macintosh PC, scanners, cameras, faxes, copiers, printers, Cisco IP Phone system

18.00-20.00 an hour
