Prepare electronic artwork
Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications of product to determine physical characteristics of item, special handling and type of materials required for the design
Discuss concepts, dimensions, and style of materials with clients and sales personnel
Create, draw and modify designs to achieve desired effect
Understand and strictly adhere to quality standards and procedures
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Other duties as assigned
Competencies
Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Able to work in a fast-paced office with strong motivation and sense of urgency
Fluent in the principles and practices of digital art, graphic design, layout and illustration, packaging structure, file manipulation and file formatting
Solid understanding of prepress and print specification for Lithography and Flexography
Exceptional attention to fine detail
Advanced communication, organization and time management skills
Advanced proficiency in computer software, including: Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Esko and Artios CAD
Able to use basic office equipment, including: scanner, copier, fax, printer, phone system
75,000-100,000 a year
