Position Summary :
We are seeking an empathetic and detail-oriented Admissions Representative to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for facilitating a seamless admissions process for prospective clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed from their first interaction with our facility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Client Engagement : Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, families, and referral sources, providing information about our programs and services.
- Screening & Intake : Conduct initial screenings to assess client eligibility and suitability for treatment, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with facility protocols.
- Coordination : Schedule intake appointments and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition into treatment.
- Insurance Verification : Verify insurance benefits and discuss financial responsibilities with clients or families.
- Data Management : Maintain accurate records in compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Crisis Support : Offer compassionate assistance to individuals in distress, connecting them with appropriate resources when necessary.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare, social work, or a related field preferred.
Experience : Prior experience in admissions, substance use treatment, healthcare, or customer service is highly desirable.
