Automotive Service Center Manager
Job Description
Automotive Service & Repair Center in San Antonio, TX needs a Center Manager. Duties include but are not limited to sales and directing shop employees of an auto repair center. Candidates must have sales, telephone, organization and communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lead, train, and coach employees in procedures as well as time management and organizational skills. We offer top pay and more.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greeting customers in a pleasant and professional manner, determine maintenance service & repairs needed in a timely & efficient manner, with exemplary quality control.
- Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspections and use features and benefits to convince customers of the need for the services suggested & required.
- Maintain a clean, organized and efficient work area.
- Work with technicians on proper completion of duties, following company policies & procedures.
- Inventory control, ordering parts and keeping profit margins in range.
- Achieve all other goals for production and growth of the business.
- Complete and submit all reports as required.
- Willingness to mentor other team members with less experience.
- Ability to work during hours of operation, 5 days per week
Qualifications and Skills
· High School Diploma Required.
· At least 3 years sales & customer service experience in a recognized automotive shop environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license & clean driving record
- Possess the Willingness to be a team player and follow directions.
- Possess a desire to continue further education in the automotive repair & service industry and achieve available certifications for your role and responsibilities.
- Ability to pass a Drug Screen and Background Check.
