ARL Healthcare is seeking a Lab Extraction Technicians at a production and processing facility in New Bedford Massachusetts!

SUMMARY: Safely mass produce ultra-premium quality products. This role will work on day-to-day operations of the processing department. Will be responsible for tracking consumables, routine maintenance, product, and quality standards. In addition, overseeing the training of new processing department employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Safe operation of cannabis extraction equipment
- Preparation and cleaning tasks
- Production of product and preparation of cannabis material for extraction
- Follows good manufacturing practice standards
- Preparation and cleaning of equipment and workspace
- Manufacture products in a mass production setting
- Work in hazardous environments and conditions
- Logging and reporting as required by state law
- Operating, maintaining, and adjusting repairs to laboratory equipment
- Washing and sterilizing laboratory glassware
- Performing clerical work related to laboratory activities such as record keeping
- Attend and add value to team meetings
- Engage in honest, innovative, problem-solving dialogue
- Always follows good manufacturing procedures
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 yr cannabis industry experience working within packaging and/or fulfillment ops
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Must be 21 or older
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check annually
- Certain situations require that work is completed on weekends, afterhours, and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform the following physical tasks: Periods of prolonged sitting and standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
