As a Teaching Assistant for students on the autism spectrum, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and engaging educational experience. Your responsibilities will include working one-on-one in small groups with students, implementing individualized learning plans, and collaborating with teachers to support student success. The program (Journeys) is located at Union Vale Middle School and is well supported by the entire community.
- 35 hr / wk Special Education Teaching Assistants
- Starting salary $21,004 plus a $4,000 Stipend and an additional Health Aide stipend of approximately $1,618

Current NYSED Teaching Assistant Certification preferred but required to obtain prior to December 2024.
