Teaching Assistants for Special Education Summer School

The Ulster BOCES Special Education Summer School Program is seeking energetic Teaching Assistants to work collaboratively with teachers to support students identified by Committee on Special Education as requiring a 12-month program. Locations include the Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning (CITL) at Anna Devine and New Paltz Middle School. Fingerprinting required. This is a non-benefited position.

All positions in Special Education Summer School shall be filled by regularly employed unit members before consideration is given to any of the other applicants.

WORK SCHEDULE:
The program runs five days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beginning July 7 through August 15.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Appropriate NYS Teaching Assistant Level I, II or III certification.
