We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using eClinicalWorks or similar software.
- Perform insurance verification and assist with medical collections as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage office documentation.
- Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding services and scheduling.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.
- Assist in managing office supplies and inventory for the dental practice.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical scheduling systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office management tasks.
- Experience in insurance verification and medical collection processes is desirable.
- Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
