Specific duties include:
- Managing and supporting the County’s Learning Management System, LinkedIn Learning System, and other select third-party integrations;
- Facilitating vendor-provided training and collaborating with the Training and OD team to deliver engaging and effective training;
- Collaborating with Employee Relations, Staffing and Selection, and vendors to leverage County systems and resources to enhance instructional quality;
- Managing and facilitating New Employee Orientation, certificate programs, and quarterly trainings;
- Configuring learning systems to optimally support ongoing learning, career development, and County objectives;
- Developing and maintaining actionable reporting metrics including communicating key dates, milestones, compliance with regulations and bargaining agreements, and other reports as needed;
- Supporting the County’s Performance Management System;
- Providing support to all county departments in aligning their goals with organizational objectives;
- Providing outstanding customer service and troubleshooting;
- Ensuring the integration of inclusion principles across all Arlington County training programs, cohorts and initiatives including utilizing County vendors;
- Contributing to program reviews and quality assurance processes, offering actionable recommendations;
- Leading the development of resources and tools to mainstream inclusion across HRD Programs; and
- Shaping new initiatives to build internal capacity on inclusion areas.
Minimum: A combination of education and experience that includes a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Training and Development, Adult Education, Organizational Performance, or related degree with considerable experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Learn system;
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Perform system;
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint);
- Experience managing new employee orientation programs;
Substitution : Additional qualifying experience can be substituted for the educational requirement. Additional education can be substituted for the experience requirement.
Desirables: Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following:
- Proficiency curating online learning into a cohort programs;
- Demonstrated ability to master changing LMS technologies and trends;
- Experience with Inclusions training or management of inclusion vendors;
- ATD Certification

Additional Information
Work Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday. Typical hours of operation are between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Telework and a flexible work schedule are available upon prior approval from the supervisor.
