As a two-doctor, fast-paced office, we are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Manage phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Verify patient information and handle related documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and scanning documents.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient office operations.
- Confirm upcoming appointments and provide follow-up communication as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using office management software (Open dental preferred).
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar front desk role is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A professional and team-oriented approach to work, as you will be collaborating closely with two excellent team members at the front desk.
