**Job Summary:**
The Licensed Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced small animal practice. This includes performing various tasks related to animal care, communicating effectively with clients, and assisting with surgical procedures and anesthesia management. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and unwavering commitment to animal welfare in a dynamic veterinary setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform animal restraint, triage, lab sample collection and analysis, diagnostic imaging, and administration of medications
* Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans and progress
* Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia management
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and veterinarians
**Requirements:**
We are looking for an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician with an active license required, 2 years of professional experience required. You should have excellent client communication and medical record management skills, comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures and hospital operations, expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques, and proficiency in various sample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens. Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture, as well as anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring, is highly desirable.
