Overview
Acadia is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant to join our team based in Rye, New York. This position is responsible for supporting administrative and accounts receivable functions for the Company’s Lease Administration team. This full-time role requires working onsite in Rye, New York a minimum of 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform a dual role, balancing administrative support and accounts receivable responsibilities for Lease Administration team
- Accurately apply daily payments from Lockbox, ACH, and wire transfers to tenant accounts.
- Prepare and organize documentation for security deposit refunds.
- Process and distribute monthly rent increase letters to tenants.
- Handle bounced check processing, including tenant communication and necessary account adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly tenant statements and other tenant correspondence.
- Prepare and process billing and credit adjustments for tenant accounts, maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Provide direct administrative support to the Senior Director of Lease Administration for all Real Estate Tax matters.
- Track and maintain schedules for key processes, including Annual Tax Filings, to meet critical deadlines.
- Generate, review, and organize monthly reports and supporting documents for tax appeals / appraisals including Letters of Authorization.
Qualifications :
The base salary compensation range for this role reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current annualized base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000.
Employees may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
