Description
ARM Group LLC is seeking a Civil or Environmental Engineer / Project Engineer with land development experience to join our fast-growing renewable energy practice. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, conscientious, resourceful, well-organized, and team-oriented engineer that is able to meet project goals, schedules, and budgets.
Experience with erosion and sediment control design, stormwater management design, and related land development engineering experience is preferred. In addition to completing engineering calculations, reports, and design drawings using CAD, the preferred candidate will interface with regulators, clients, and will provide support to project managers.
Location : This position can be filled in our Ashland, VA office.
Responsibilities :
- Develop calculations, engineering reports, and design drawings for permit applications and construction bid packages for commercial / industrial and utility scale solar projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Develop project timelines, maintain schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and assist with completing projects on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate the design and permitting of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prepare designs and permit applications to acquire land use approvals.
- Present projects at public meetings / hearings, answering technical and land use questions.
- Work with team to develop detailed technical proposals and refine and improve internal processes.
