Duties & Responsibilities :
The System Administrator shall assist in coordinating, installing, and maintaining servers on NIPRNET, SIPRNET, DMZ, and a commercial ISP networks. The system capabilities must comply with all DOD, Navy, and NWC requirements for security and Information Assurance protection.The System Administrator shall provide and perform a full range of server services support to implement, maintain and sustain all unclassified and classified system support services required.The System Administrator shall provide server support to setup, modify, maintain, operate, and support networks to include, but not be limited to : NIPRNET / Internet, SIPRNET, DMZ, Cox commercial ISP circuit.The System Administrator shall provide support to include but not be limited : server and system backups and restores, integration with Command authorized mobile devices through Mobile Device Manager system, implementation, server engineering, MS Exchange management, IAVA vulnerability patching, MS Active Directory management, server OS management for Windows and Linux, basic network connectivity, DNS and DHCP management, MS SQL administration, MS SharePoint administration, server application upgrades, VMware, VDI support, vSpere, Horizon view, Veeam, Microsoft SCCM, VBrick video broadcasting systems, performance monitoring, writing and deployment of scripts, server documentation and configuration management, and managing network printer servers.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) :
System Administrators must fully and clearly document work procedures, demonstrate ability to work effectively in coordination with other team members, demonstrate a positive customer orientation in service delivery, and be able to think logically and act decisively in critical situations.System Administrators must have experience with VMware, vSphere, View, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, System Center Data Protection Manager, System Center Configuration Manager, SQL / Clusters.Minimum / General Experience :
Must fully meet DOD 8140 role qualifications for the System Administrator (451) proficiency level.Disclaimer :
