Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage renovation projects at VA hospitals, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate daily operations on-site, including subcontractor management, material delivery, and workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with project teams and communicate updates with project managers and clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues to keep projects moving forward seamlessly.
- Travel: The role requires travel during the week, typically Monday through Thursday, with weekends spent at home.
- Locations: Primary project locations are in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, preferably with federal or healthcare renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams effectively.
- Ability to travel and work on-site during the week.
- Familiarity with federal contracting requirements is a plus.
