Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of a new senior housing project starting in May 2025, with another project scheduled to begin in May 2026. The Superintendent will be responsible for on-site management, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to completion.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to maintain project flow.
- Enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations on-site.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality control.
- Maintain clear communication with project managers, owners, and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve construction issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily/apartment construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
