This position is in person Monday through Friday in our Alexandria office.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position maintains a safe and secure environment for employees, tenants and customers by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Serves as the first point of contact for the Enterprise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Greet and welcomes guests as soon as they arrive at the building.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Obtain help by sounding alarms, if necessary.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
- Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building security controls.
- Maintain organization's safety and security policies by complying with legal requirements, operational procedures.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related task and duties as needed.
- Maintain beverages and supplies in all kitchens.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- At least 4 years verifiable work history
- CPR/AED/First-Aid Certified strongly preferred
- Safety Management experience desired
- Clean driving history
