Inside Sales Representative - New Member Sales
Armed Forces Insurance will cover expenses for the training and testing to obtain your property and casualty personal lines license.
Compensation
Starting Pay $47,000-$55,000, depending on experience.
We do not pay commissions. This is the hourly rate of pay.

Work from Home Requirements
This position is eligible for 50% telecommuting after initial training period and satisfactory job performance.
What we are looking for
If you enjoy helping others in a fast-paced office environment, you might be a fit at Armed Forces Insurance as a licensed inbound sales Agent. You will communicate with potential and current insureds. You will educate insureds about our products and services, finding the best coverage for their unique needs. Ability to multitask and use multiple systems needed.
Must Have Qualifications
- 4 years of customer service experience in a financial services environment, ( a combination of up to 4 years of higher education, college credit hours, Associate's Degree, or BA/BS Degree may be substituted for experience)
- Or currently a licensed representative in a property/casualty insurance company
- Keyboard skills of at least 35 wpm
- Competent written communications skills
- Excellent verbal communications skills, to include a courteous, confident demeanor and appropriate use of grammar and vocabulary
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to accomplish work according to established priorities and procedures
What professional education requirements do I need to obtain
- Ability to obtain the state agent’s license within 90 days in the position, and to maintain an unrestricted license thereafter*
- Completion of insurance designation or equivalent professional designation within 33 months in the position
- if incumbent did not have prior experience in a position with this requirement
