Supervisor of Metal Finishing
Pay: $25-$35/hr

Responsibilities of the Supervisor of Metal Finishing
- Supervise, train, and mentor new and current employees within your team
- Clean and passivate welded equipment using means such as solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods.
- Properly apply and inspect clear coat finishing as directed by management
- Safely handle and move equipment
- Follow safety regulations and wear protective eye-wear, steel toe boots, and other applicable personal protective equipment.
- Follows established procedures with respect to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements, including wearing of all proper PPE when working with production chemicals.
- Performs inspection of products.
- Shows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements of the Supervisor of Metal Finishing
- 2 years of supervising experience
- 2 years of metal finishing experience
- High School diploma or equivalent – Trade skills are a plus but not required
- Previous experience with weld passivation is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail, desire to solve problems, and drive to resolve technical issues.
- Must have ability to drive forklift
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must possess a strong work ethic, prove ability to follow direction, and meet expectations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer use
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Valid driver’s license
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
