Purchaser/Planner/Inventory Management
Qualifications:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of BOM structures and inventory management principles
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to align purchasing strategies with operational needs.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding product specifications, delivery schedules, and any potential issue
- Procurement Management
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedule
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement and inventory management
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excess.
- Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate records.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations
- Ability to create, send and track Purchase Orders in ERP System
- Capable of negotiating terms and managing relationships with numerous Vendors
- Skills in researching and suggesting new vendors for management approval
- Tracking orders through to QuickBooks, managing AP for the materials orders
