Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Job Summary
The Booth Painter will prepare, paint, and finish metal surfaces using a variety of techniques and equipment within a controlled environment, ensuring all surfaces are appropriately coated while meeting our high-quality standards and following all safety and company guidelines.
Job Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Board and mask material.
- Operate and maintain paint booths and related equipment.
- Apply primers, basecoats, and topcoats using spray guns or other methods.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality and consistency.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Performs additional tasks and responsibilities, as needed, to support team and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial or automotive painting.
- Must be able to wear a respirator for the entire shift
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift over 50 lbs., where employee assistance is required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to do basic computer tasks.
