Job Summary
Supports Production's material needs and provides the necessary services to keep Material flowing in a timely manner to every building and program. Supports the loading and unloading of material from incoming and outgoing carriers. Provides support of all material movement within the manufacturing buildings and various storage locations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operates forklifts, pallet jack, drum dolly, and various other items used to move material.
- Must be able to distinguish between several different Lot Number of the same material to assure that proper one is delivered.
- Lift heavy items with the use of available equipment to move items that are often over 400 lbs.
- Must have the ability to load boxes of finished goods by hand.
- Responsible for the pick-up and delivery of receipt logs, issue slips and all other documents that pertain to materials and inventory control.
- Driver to and from Armtec’s off-site warehouse and local post office.
- Must possess good hand to eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Have the ability to adhere to all work instructions per applicable MSPI's, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
- Good visual inspection abilities.
- Helps with the moving of in-house furniture.
- Creates labels and tags in-house material.
- Will occasionally drive the company's truck.
- Position requires employees to be cross-trained or transfer to other programs, or departments by incorporating into a team environment as requested.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to learn operation of various pieces of equipment necessary for their job.
- Ability to read and understand MSPI's written English.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must maintain a valid California Driver’s License.
- Must understand and follow the use of P.P.E.
