About the Role
This role involves performing duties such as making minor cosmetic repairs to vehicles, loading and unloading supplies, moving materials using hand trucks or dollies, stacking and arranging supplies for storage, collecting refuse and recyclable materials, reporting facility condition to supervisor including the need for repairs, mowing grass, trimming and edging walkways and lawns, shoveling snow from walks and driveways.
Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) months experience working as an automotive detailer.
- Knowledge of simple power equipment and hand tools, such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, edges and trimmers, scrubbers and buffers, steam cleaners and vacuums.
- Able to maintain and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
Benefits
This federal wage schedule (FWS) position comes with overtime work benefits for hours worked beyond 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in the administrative workweek. Employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts and night shift differentials based on their regular schedule.
