Position Summary: This position is
responsible for the preparation and cooking of our menu per the recipes and
portion control guidelines set. By paying attention to speed, cleanliness and
organization, this position will ensure that each food item prepared meets both
the restaurant, banquets and the members standards.

Responsibilities include:

Country Club seeking to build a team of professional Line Cooks, Prep
Cooks, and Stewards for join our new Executive Sous Chef whose expertise
is "farm to kitchen" cuisine. Join Executive Sous Chef Ben
Simpkins and work closely with his kitchen management. - Enjoy

the employee. Understanding the grill area layout, how to
cook using prescribed portions, grilling procedures, and presentation
requirementsPreparation of foods, perform short-order
cooking, fry foods, grill meats, etc.Responsible for cooking food to the correct
temperature as per the customer's requestMust be able to safely use food service
equipment such as grills, fryers, stoves, knives, slicers, blenders, choppers
and ovensMust maintain safe food handling practices
as required by the restaurant and the U.S. Department of HealthHelp with the preparation of other foods
and fill in other places when needed before, during or after a dining service.Set up and preparation of all food items
needed for service. Ensure the kitchen and equipment is kept clean, create
orders, process food deliveries, and complete a nightly inventoryResponsible for setting up stations and
restocking items. Also organize, sanitize and clean the kitchen, dishes,
storage areas and coolers.During service, the cook must work to cook
components of a table's meal to ensure that everything is finished at the same
time. To be successful, the focus should be on accuracy, presentation,
cleanliness and timing.After service, all unused items need to be
wrapped, properly stored them in the walk-in and lowboy refrigerators. Stations
need to be cleaned with soap and sanitizer and ensures that all equipment has
been properly shut off for the night.Meat is kept and cooked at the proper
temperature. Also responsible for inventory and disposal of meat and other food
that has spoiled and should no longer be cooked on the grillPerform other duties as appropriate
Qualifications
Job requirements:
Positive attitude and must work well with

Must possess basic cooking skills
Should expect to stand all day and work
long hours in a hot and crowded spaceLifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of
at least 50 poundsBe able to remain calm and work well under
pressure.Must understand how to use a variety of
food service equipment, including knives, pots and pans, ovens and grills, food
processors and slicers.Must know and follow sanitary food handling
procedures1 year kitchen experience
ServSafe Certification preferred
