The ABA Service Coordinator is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of the therapeutic program for each participant. This role involves the planning, implementation, and follow-up of individualized activities that cater to the interests and abilities of each person served. The coordinator will ensure high-quality service delivery in line with contract specifications and organizational standards, fostering independence, integration, and satisfaction among participants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Service Delivery Oversight:

Monitor Support Staff to ensure services are rendered according to contract and quality standards.

Assist in the development and scheduling of daily activities for customers and staff.

Ensure timely execution of 6-month assessments and coordinate with the BCBA supervisor as necessary.

Staff and Customer Orientation:

Conduct orientation and training for new admissions and support staff. Maintain knowledge of individual needs, goals, and special considerations.

Program Documentation and Compliance:

Update and maintain operational procedures and program literature, including service manuals and client binders. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (CARF, CMH, BACB).

Quality and Effectiveness:

Provide ongoing informal and formal feedback to customers, staff, and management.

Manage the Outcome Management System to monitor customer satisfaction and program effectiveness.

Ensure services are aligned with the agency’s mission and goals.

Leadership and Team Management:

Demonstrate leadership qualities essential for team cohesion and productivity. Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Participate actively in committee work and contribute creatively to service enhancement.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely completion of billing documents. Maintain confidential and up-to-date master files for each customer. Manage resources effectively to increase performance outcomes.

Professional Development:

Engage in continuous learning through literature, seminars, and conferences. Maintain required licensure and certifications.

Work Environment:

This role involves working in multiple environments, including clinics, educational institutions, and client homes. The RBT must be adaptable to the changing needs and locations of clients.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Minimum Requirements:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

· Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field (Master’s preferred).

· Certified in ABA or related field, with extensive experience in behavioral analysis.

· Proven experience as a service coordinator or similar role in a health care setting.

· Strong organizational and leadership skills.

· Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges or in a clinical setting is highly desired.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

· Reliable, empathetic, and able to handle challenging situations with professionalism.

· Must be certified or willing to obtain certification as a Behavioral Technician, if required by state or program regulations.

· Must be able to successfully complete First Aide Certification, CPR Certification.

Successfully complete Community Mental Health required training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
