Position: Warehouse Sales
Position Overview
No company can promise uncompromised customer satisfaction without the people to backup and deliver that promise. At Arnold we have assembled the most comprehensive machinery support team in the western United States. There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace. With the training we provide, the Aftermarket Sales Associate helps Arnold to keep that standing.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must control expenses required in transacting sales
- Ensures customers are invoiced and funds received by the Company in a timely manner
- Strategically plans marketing to provide for new/existing customer base growth
- Submits a summary of account activity on a weekly basis
- Develop and expand current customer/prospect database and update daily
- Conducts detailed customer application analysis to determine optimum solutions
- Prepares and delivers professional sales presentations and proposals to include the follow up necessary to secure the business
- Develops, implements, and executes a marketing plan for an assigned customer base
- Contacts customers to achieve maximum sales and profit for the company
- Delivery of equipment and follow up as needed to ensure complete satisfaction
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time
- Above all else, provides Silver Service to Arnold Machinery Company customers
Non-essential Job Functions:
- Data entry and various office duties
- Maintain a clean workspace
Requirements
- Must have a good mechanical aptitude
- Maintain a good driving record
- Must be able to lift and carry 50-80 lbs
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Reaches to answer phones
- Moves about, occasionally through uneven terrain
- Read paperwork, files and records on the computer
- Communicates by phone and in person
- Bends body to file various paperwork
- Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain
- Hears well enough to receive communication by radio, phone and in person
- Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist
- Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job
- Climbs in and out of equipment
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical background preferred
