Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Practice Manager to join our Gastroenterology team. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Practice Manager will oversee the administrative operations of the division, ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of outpatient services. From staff training to policy development and inter-departmental communication, you’ll play a key role in shaping the operational success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of Outpatient Services.
- Conduct performance evaluations for clerical and technical staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to comply with regulatory standards (JCAHO, OSHA).
- Lead staff training, orientation, and professional development.
- Monitor and improve patient satisfaction scores and operational efficiency.
- Assist with risk management strategies, issue resolution, and provider support.
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll approval, purchasing, and staffing coordination.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in management, business, or a similar field preferred. High School Diploma required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare with managerial responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical software.

Special Demands:

- Occasional after-hours calls for staffing needs.
- Some travel may be required.
